I'm curious to know more about Taiwanese comics. I'd like to know what superheroes exist in Taiwanese comics, besides Origami Warriors? Does Taiwan have theire own answer to Batman and Superman? Please let me know and please list as many characters as possible. Thanks.
Yeah, Japanese and American comics are more popular in taiwan (some are translated into mandarin and then released in Taiwan) Even those from hong kong are more popular. I dont think any of the more recent comics come from Taiwan anymore, but my parents’ generation had some.
I’m not really knowledgeable on this subject, but my students have told me that, "There aren’t any good Taiwanese comics; that’s why we read the Japanese ones."
