If I could draw (and I can't), I would find out if my favorite artists have a webpage and contact them for suggestions. Sometime they have message boards where people post their art to get pointers on how to improve.

Otherwise, I would go to Amazon.com and search for books specific to comics such as "Drawing Cutting Edge Anatomy: The Ultimate Reference for Comic Book Artists (Paperback)". Read the reviews and see what other artists recommend.

books that show you how to draw comics. also look for a style that you like and try to see if you can come up with your own style.

I suggest Naruto and Death note note just b/c they are awesome manga but they do alot of different angles that really make their art pop out, and be different from regular mangas.

Plus I would suggest books that show anotomy, I find finding the balance really hard and when you do you need to be able to project it in many differnt poses.
