What happens between the time we are children and the time that we become adults that makes us not appreciate cartoons and toys much more? Youd think that as your imagination grows, your appreciation for toys and cartoons would grow, but instead we become less and less interested in them. why is that?
My 17 month old daughter loves cartoons! Every morning she runs to the TV and says cartoons over and over and even gives me the remote to turn on the TV. I read to her and play with her but after awhile her toys get boring and she's back to saying cartoons over and over. It's cold and nasty outside so we haven't been outside for awhile so I think she gets bored and I let her watch cartoons. Is this unhealthy?

Hi! I was searching pictures of Iron Man on google, and I noticed that on mark 3 the thing on the chest is circular (it was like that in the movie) but in some other pictures it was triangular.
Isn't it just suppossed to be a circle? I'm guessing the triangular ones are just fan art. Because I didn't see any movie scenes with the triangular one.
But, my brother said he has a poster of him with a triangular one.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I mean the glowy chest piece in this picture:
i have honestly never seen a picture of the chest piece in a triangular shape. every picture i have seen, and all thru the movie, it is circular. and obviously its meant to be circular in the comic. i have also seen posters for the movie but none were triangular.....maybe your brother is messing with u lol

What is the psychology behind adults who still play with toys as they did as a child, and are drawn to animation and cartoons? Is this a negative sign of a disruption during child development? And is it normal or okay for an adult to still play with toys or a sign that the person isn't ready for 'adulthood'? Is it damaging, should it stop? I'm asking this question more on a psychological level than an opinion level, but opinions are welcome, too.
I asked this question before--How do I go about buying a prototype toy from Bandai which they showcased at the Toyfare but cancelled the line before it came out.
Someone stated that it's hard to obtain a prototype like that because they're not the manufacturers and the manufacturers own the license to sell. I'm guessing DC Comics is the manufacturer since the toys are DC Comics characters. Can anyone help on how I go about trying to buy a prototype toy from the manufacturer of DC?
