I have been drawing comics ever since I was in 2nd grade. Now, the ones from 4rth grade and under are in safe storage and mixed up, but the ones from 5th grade to 7nth are organized in folders. Now, in 5th and 6th grade, when I would fill up one side of the paper with a comic, I would start to draw on the other, meaning there would be thick pencil drawings on both sides. Now, these drawings are 2-3 years old and they mean a lot to me, and recently they started to smudge. Some of them I have trouble reading. What can I do to preserve these drawings? I would like them to last a much longer time than 3 years. There are around 300-400 of these comics (a lot of drawing, but my poor grades at the time show that) Also, 7nth grade to now have only 1 side and they don't smudge.
Please note that there are over 300 of these comics, maybe even over 500. Buying fixatives would be into several hundred dollars for EVERY one of these comics. I need a cheap and fast way to do this. Thanks!
Fix mount spray or hairspray will do.
Alway do it outside though.

A hilarious and satirical debut novel exploring religious hypocrisy in an Irish grade school. Combining the spirit of Kingsley Amis's Lucky Jim with a bawdy evisceration of hypocrisy in old-school Catholic education, The Brothers' Lot is a comic satire that tells the story of the Brothers of Godly Coercion School for Young Boys of Meager Means, a dilapidated Dickensian institution run by an assemblage of eccentric, insane, and often nasty celibate Brothers. The school is in decline and the Brothers hunger for a miracle to move their founder, the Venerable Saorseach O'Rahilly, along the path to Sainthood. When a possible miracle presents itself, the Brothers fervently seize on it with the help of the ethically pliant Diocesan Investigator, himself hungry for a miracle to boost his career. The school simultaneously comes under threat from strange outside forces. The harder the Brothers try to defend the school, the worse things seem to get. It takes an outsider, Finbar Sullivan, a young student newly arrived at the school, to see that the source of the threat may in fact lie inside the school itself. As the miracle unravels, the Brothers' efforts to preserve it unleash a disastrous chain of events. Tackling a serious subject from the oblique viewpoint of satire, The Brothers' Lot explores the culture that allowed abuses within church-run institutions in Ireland to go unchecked for decades. The novel inhabits a space where Angela's Ashes meets the work of Flann O'Brien and Mervyn Peake, while providing a look at a regrettable era that still haunts many countries across the globe.

dream about white worm things - what does it mean?
THere was a paper bag on the side board, and it was wrattling, like crinkling. I wanted to grab it and stop them escaping but i was too scared. It fell over, and they spilt out. I screamed and backed away. They rolled out across the floor, and then they like merged, as if they were pro creating and they got bigger and thicker. At this point I was so scared I screamed and shut the door and woke up.
I was so freaked that every time i closed my eyes I could see them, and had to put the tv on to help distract me. Even now, three days later, the thought of them creeps me out. Even writing this made the food stick in my throat and makes me wanna curl up into a ball.
What does it mean?
aw colgate, wish i'd had the guts to kill one now lol

If our world becomes too perfect (no war, no disease, longevity) would our world be a dystopia or Utopia?
I'm basing this question the the novel "Brave New World" but its open for anyone to answer. To live in a world where nothing bad can happen, theres nothing to be stressed and technology run every niche of human life so we don't have to do anything. Human are all models figures perfectly engineered with all the right genes. Is a perfect civilization a utopia or dystopia
A fascinating question.
It certainly wouldn't be dystopic in the literal sense of the word, i.e., characterized by squalor, disease, oppression, misery, etc. But it would challenge human beings in ways that are difficult to comprehend, since our current reality falls decidedly short of utopic.
It's not difficult to envision technology advancing so far that illnesses and perhaps even death would, theoretically, not exist. The absence of these maladies is part of the basic definition of a utopic state.
But what about those forces of human nature that don't lend themselves to tangible identification, correction and elimination (in the way, say, an organic disease does)?
For example, you don't say what happens to the human imagination in the world you have hypothesized. Are we to assume that imagination is rendered unnecessary? If so, is this rendering accomplished "technologically?" That is, are the systems that are employed to make everything else "perfect" and worry-free in this utopia also used to somehow disable or remove the "imagination" (assuming it could be found)? Or, is it assumed that the "perfection" of the utopic state would naturally cause the human imagination to atrophy from disuse?
In a perfect state, it would not be necessary to spend time or energy imagining how one might "improve" the human condition. But the human imagination is equally adept at imagining and pursuing evil. This "dark side" of the imagination would also have to be neutralized in some fashion to remove the possibility of making the utopia a dystopia.
This raises the core question: if there is no functioning imagination - that power we possess that makes us unique among living beings - in a utopic state, are we any longer "human" in the most fundamental sense?
If we are required to relinquish our humanity in order to achieve a utopic state, there will be nothing left within us that enables us to enjoy what we have wrought. That then begs the question: What's the point?
You have asked an excellent question! Thank you for inviting this discussion.

H.G. Wells created The War of the Worlds, his archetypical story of alien invasion, amidst an 1890s backdrop of rampant and rapid industrialization, global British hegemony, and incipient war with Europe-all of which are reflected in his tale of Martian attack. The story remains startlingly relevant today in our era wracked with worldwide concerns over terrorism and national security. This new edition--with an introduction by mass-psychology expert Robert E. Bartholomew and classic illustrations by Alvin-Correa--is sure to enthrall and intrigue yet another generation of readers.
Spanning two and a half millennia, Anthony Pagden’s mesmerizing Worlds at War delves deep into the roots of the “clash of civilizations” between East and West that has always been a battle over ideas, and whose issues have never been more urgent. Worlds At War begins in the ancient world, where Greece saw its fight against the Persian Empire as one between freedom and slavery, between monarchy and democracy, between individuality and the worship of men as gods. Here, richly rendered, are the crucial battle of Marathon, considered the turning point of Greek and European history; the heroic attempt by the Greeks to turn the Persians back at Thermopylae; and Salamis, one of the greatest naval battles of all time, which put an end to the Persian threat forever. From there Pagden’s story sweeps to Rome, which created the modern concepts of citizenship and the rule of law. Rome’s leaders believed those they conquered to be free, while the various peoples of the East persisted in seeing their subjects as property. Pagden dramatizes the birth of Christianity in the East and its use in the West as an instrument of government, setting the stage for what would become, and has remained, a global battle of the secular against the sacred. Then Islam, at first ridiculed in Christian Europe, drives Pope Urban II to launch the Crusades, which transform the relationship between East and West into one of competing religious beliefs. Modern times bring a first world war, which among its many murky aims seeks to redesign the Muslim world by force. In our own era, Muslims now find themselves in unwelcoming Western societies, while the West seeks to enforce democracy and its own secular values through occupation in the East. Pagden ends on a cautionary note, warning that terrorism and war will continue as long as sacred and secular remain confused in the minds of so many. Eye-opening and compulsively readable, Worlds at War is a stunning work of history and a triumph of modern scholarship. It is bound to become the definitive work on the reasons behind the age-old and still escalating struggle that, more than any other, has come to define the modern world–a book for anyone seeking to know why “we came to be the way we are.” From the Hardcover edition.
Books Away! Knowing the World War II Autographed Materials That you Can Buy
For many war enthusiasts, the Second World War marked a period of great change that makes memorabilia from that era worth collecting. The Second World War brought forth revolutions in artillery and war strategies, not to mention secret, surprise raids that marked the beginning of the war at Pearl Harbor, and the end of it at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There was the atomic bomb that spurred even more research in the fields of nuclear physics and atomic energy. At the end of the war, there were cities to rebuild and roads to re-pave. All changed in the world, thanks to the war and the men and women who fought and died in it.
Autographed books and memorabilia from the Second World War are therefore not difficult to come by. The war, its history, and its aftermath have fascinated many people, and the built in audience has not only encouraged more people to learn about the war and collect materials from it; it has also made businessmen out of collectors, as many people are willing to trade and buy autographed materials from the war for either display in their homes, or their own money making, auction, and buy-and-sell schemes.
What kinds of autographed memorabilia from the Second World War can you avail? There are many kinds of materials now being sold or auctioned on the market, and they can come from either the Axis or the Allied powers. In fact, many families with ties to Germany have Nazi-related heirlooms handed down from generation to generation; many descendants of Allied soldiers who served in the war will also have pictures, many of them autographed, of famous generals. Here are other memorabilia you might come across and purchase.
- Many French, British, Russian, and American pilots were often referred to as Aces during the war. This was because they not only flew fast and strong, but hit their targets and led their squadrons to victory. Most of these pilots not only emerged alive, but were able to sign a good many pictures after the war. Such photographs can go as high as a thousand dollars for rarer pictures, especially of the Russian pilots.
- Since photographs were rather expensive back then, many people had their newspapers signed by pilots, soldiers, generals, or servicemen. Such newspapers, along with the autographs, can be highly expensive, given the double significance of the find. If you can find an autographed newspaper showing the headlines about Pearl Harbor, the Battle of Normandy, the entrance of Allied troops into Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, and the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then be prepared to shell out thousands of dollars to purchase it.
- Many books were printed after the war, most of them detailing the battles that were fought, the Nuremberg trials, and the rebuilding that had to be done. Some of these books are precious to war enthusiasts, especially those who want to study battle strategies. Some books will also be autographed, not only by their authors, but by the generals who were involved in the battles.
- Not only did servicemen sign photos and letters, they also signed postmarked envelopes to their parents or loved ones back home. Some of these envelopes can also be bought, along with the letters they contained.
- Some soldiers spent time in the trenches honing their sketching, even painting skills. There are many sketches of the Axis generals available, some of them signed by the Axis generals themselves! Such sketches can cost as much as several thousand dollars, especially if they have both the autograph of the artist and the subject.
- Most Axis generals also required a military driver’s license. Such a license would of course contain their signature, and such licenses are also being sold in World War II collectors’ stores.

There are many different names for silver jewellery on the market today. So, what are all these types of silver and what do they mean?
This article will educate you so you understand what the different terminologies are when you are buying 92.5 silver jewelry or silver gemstone jewelry.
What is silver?
Silver is a metal which has been used for hundreds of years. Silver is mined from many countries but the biggest producers are Mexico, Peru and Australia.
Silver in its pure form, is normally considered too soft for everyday use. Therefore, other metals are added to the pure silver such as cooper.
The different types of “Silver”
Sterling silver is the main type of silver used in jewellery, ornaments & dinnerware today. This is solid silver. Sterling silver is a mixture of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% metal alloy.
Sterling silver is hallmarked as “925”.
Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver and is normally considered too soft to use for most items. It is also solid silver.
Silver plating is common and sometimes dishonest sellers try to pass this off as sterling silver. It’s also call electroplated silver or silver coated as well. Silver plated items are made using a base metal, normally brass or nickel, which is then put through an electroplating process. Electroplating is a process which adheres a very very thin layer of pure silver onto the base metal.
The result is a sterling silver looking item at a much reduced price. It may look like sterling silver but the silver plating tends to wear off quite quickly exposing the less than beautiful base metal.
Alpaca Silver or German Silver is not actually silver at all. It is a greyish looking alloy which resembles silver. It is sometimes referred to as nickel silver, paktong, and new silver. It is also used as a base for silver plated items because of its appearance. If you want real silver, stay away from this. Also, beware of sellers selling this as “fine jewellery” to consumers that don’t know the difference between sterling silver and alpaca silver.
Mexican Silver is silver is used to describe silver made in Mexico. It must have more than 90% pure silver content to be Mexican silver. Most silver jewellery from Mexico today is actually sterling silver.
Britannia Silver has a pure silver content of 95.85% and no more than 4.16% copper. This silver is marked in the U.K. and Ireland as "958 silver." It is an even more pure form of silver than sterling silver. Hence it’s higher valuer.
Antiquing of Sterling Silver Jewelry
Antiquing is very common in the silver industry today and is the practice of applying a finishing process to sterling silver to give the item an appearance of age. As well as giving the item an appearance of age, it also helps to produce a contrast which makes the details of intricate designs stand out better.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Comic BonBon was a monthly Japanese manga magazine published by Kodansha and targeted at elementary school boys. Each issue had 700+ pages, with 80 of them being fullcolor advertisements. Similar to its rival CoroCoro Comic, it featured tieins with game makers and toy makers but toward the end of its run had less of that. The first issue was published in October 15, 1981. Mobile Suit Gundam was extremely popular at that time. Although the Gundam boom is centered at the higher age group, the fire slowly spread to the lower age group in the form of gunpla and thus it was decided to mainly publish gunpla content. Many popular series were published in Comic BonBon like the SD Gundam series, Rockman series and Medarot series, just to name a few.

Because of this, she was chosen to be the next woman to be featured in Bluwater Productions' Female Force series.
The 22-page comic book traces her ascent to the White House, starting with her humble up-bringing from the South Side of Chicago and her days in Princeton. It chronicles her endearing qualities and respectfully stirred clear of the controversies attached to her speeches. It also intentionally avoided the showing drawings of the first daughters. The series was created with the foremost intention of inspiring young women.

I need to find my lost identity, which is cani...@yahoo.com?
I was informed by a little kid, [comic book style] that my yahoo account was being pulled because I was in an unrecognized area. And so, I guess that yahoo.com now controls where we use our computers. I have used this computer right here in Lower Nicola BC, and in Oroville Wa.,and I must say until now, I've never, ever, had any problems with yahoo.com, but this one is a doozey!
I have almost $39.00 in my phone in, and my phone out accounts, and I find it a real stretch for yahoo.com to lock my account so that I'm denied access to my phone services, because they have a greater need for that little bit of money, than I do.
But, trying to recover my password is about as hard as it is to get at a preachers snake oil. So if anybody from yahoo.com,s staff reads this maybe they'll have a little sympathy for the gimp,(did I mention the fact that I'm the victim of osteo-arthritis, and osteoporosis), please accept my apologies. But I'm stuck in a wheelchair.
Instructions:
1. since you probably forgot your password completely, type in something random.
2. Below the bar thingy where you type in the sruff, there's something that says, "forgot your password? Click here!" or something like that.
3. Click on it.
4. Answer the questions(they should be easy- they're about yourself) and then you get your password!

looks good... seems to be extremely volatile but has stead income and is in a low swing right.... however, the PE is 140 which scares me, I've never even seen a PE that high before... i read somewhere though that it is common for chineese stocks to be in the triple digits. anybody know more about chineese stock? analysts seem to think it is a good time to buy too, but i dont neccesarily trust analysts, who knows if they are chineese or something and being paid by the government
Try not to look at the PE when it comes to chinese stocks. This is a weak indicator. Look at their ROE and other fundamentals such as accelerated earnings etc. However, this stock has been beaten down. The chinese stocks will remain volatile until the U.S. calms and other world markets. Do not buy yet. This stock will drop a little more. Buy at 16

Sony Wii Systems in Stock – Where? – Read Here Quickly!
Almost two months after the big Christmas rush, it is still proving difficult to find the sony wii systems in stock and selling at its recommended retail price. Such is the popularity of the console, even well over a year after its original release, the most hardened shoppers are having difficulty tracking down good deals.
There are now a few retailers that have Nintendo Wii’s in stock but tracking these down can prove difficult and time consuming especially if you have to trawl around the shopping malls looking for them.
The stores that often offer good competitive prices for products are finding themselves out of stock most of them time. Until their shelves are restocked there is little chance of finding a Nintendo Wii there and most of the more expensive resellers are looking to cash in on the shortage.
To find Nintendo Wii systems in stock for a reasonable price will take some web savvy and vigilance. There are a number of websites on the internet devoted specifically to tracking the availability of Wii consoles at various high street and online outlets. If you are lucky you may be able to catch a fresh shipment and get your Wii for as little as $250.
However, you will need to be quick. It is rumored that the last shipment at this price to go for sale on Amazon.com sold out in 10 minutes. The sustained demand for the Nintendo Wii is nothing short of amazing over a year after its release in the United States. Figures show that about 500,000 have been sold every month since its release and that there is no sign of demand slowing.
