dc comics fan films CLICK THIS LINK TO CHECK OUT OUR FEATURED PRODUCTS ! Is there a way to cram a lifetime's worth of a comic book fan's knowledge of Marvel & DC into a couple weeks? I'm a fan of comic book characters being made into feature films like Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man etc, but I hate that I don't know enough about the legend to really enjoy the movie - is there, like, a book or encyclopedia that's like a condensed compendium of every Marvel & DC Comics character ever created? Or an animated series? Or five.. One way is to visit the publishers' site. DC Comics has mini online comics on Superhero origins and History of the DC Universe. http://www.dccomics.com/dcu/heroes_and_villains/ Marvel Comics has something a little similar though I find it more confusing at times. But they give summary descriptions of characters, or teams, or events (like Civil War). http://marvel.com/universe/Main_Page There are also books available that you can either buy or read at your local bookstore. http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Encyclopedia-Tom-DeFalco/dp/0756655307/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266076157&sr=8-1 DC Encyclopedia http://www.amazon.com/DC-Comics-Encyclopedia-Updated-Expanded/dp/0756641195/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b EDIT: Here are a few sites I read to see what is happening with comic book movies. http://www.superherohype.com/ http://www.comicbookmovie.com/ http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=author&id=136 DC COMIC FAN FILMS 2011 INTRO CHECK OUT THESE GREAT PRODUCTS BELOW:

Film Trailers: Green Lantern Trailer Hits the WebThere's been a great deal of film news lately for DC Comics fans to chew over. First off Zack Snyder was confirmed as the director of the upcoming Superman reboot and then the title of the third Christopher Nolan Batman was revealed as The Dark Knight Rises.
However, one of the biggest film trailers to hit the web in the last few weeks must surely be the first for DC and Warner Bros' The Green Lantern. For those who don't know the backstory of this popular, but as yet untested superhero, his name has been bestowed upon many an alter ego in years gone by.
Since 1940, the man behind the green mask has been Alan Scott, Guy Gardner, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner, to name just a few. But, for his first silver screen outing, the Lantern will be Hal Jordan - a gifted, yet somewhat hot-headed test pilot, who has been selected by the intergalactic Green Lantern Corps to help protect the Universe from a new and terrifying enemy known as Parallax.
Directed by Martin Campbell - who's previous credits include two Zorro movies and James Bond reboot Casino Royale - the movie is set for a June 2011 release and will star Ryan Reynolds as the title character. As a huge comic book fan who has already starred as Deadpool in 2009's X Men Origins: Wolverine, there is a lot of hope that Reynolds will be able to do justice to the beloved character when he dons the famous green suit and magical ring that give him the necessary unearthly powers to bring balance to the cosmos.
While film reviews are a long way off on this one, there's no real doubt that this is going to be one of the biggest flicks of 2011. The internet is already buzzing about this new trailer and the bloggers are busy dissecting all of the tiniest elements of the footage to see how much they can glean on what to expect. Some have speculated that the jokey nature of Reynolds' Green Lantern is not really in keeping with the more serious spirit of the original comic series, while others have welcomed the lightness of touch the actor is bringing to the performance. One thing is for sure, next year a new DC Comics superhero will arrive on the block and will get his shot at lining up to the likes of Batman and Superman. Bobbleheads to Feed Your Inner GeekCustomBobble.com positions its bobbleheads as keepsakes, mementoes and ways to remember loved ones and beloved pets by. But if you’re a geek, would you think that you have some use for a bobblehead, after all? For Star Wars freaks, you may want a replica of Luke Skywalker. Or Darth Vader. Or Chewbacca. Or Yoda. Or maybe you’re not a Star Wars freak, you’re a Lord of the Rings freak, and you would love a replica of Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Frodo, or even... Sam Gamgee. If you are not a geek, you may go “What?! What would you need a bobblehead of Yoda for?!” Well, the principle is simple. If you are one of those who are just squirrels for collecting the likenesses of your favorite characters, it’s not so inconceivable to actually have a shelf filled of Yoda’s in all shapes and forms. If you are one of those who had been waiting for a certain figurine of your favorite character, but was unfortunate to have found out that the stores ran out of stock of those and those were of the limited edition, should you panic? No! All you need to do is hop on over to CustomBobble.com and submit a picture of that figurine, and have their expert artisans craft a remarkable replica of that hard-to-find item that you had been dying to get. CustomBobble.com’s bobbleheads are more than the usual dolls and replicas. These bobbleheads are hand-crafted by expert artisans who want nothing less than a 70% accurate likeness of the photos you send them. So if it’s Yoda you’re asking to be crafted, it’ll be Yoda you’ll get. Not Darth Maul. For those who had been wanting, needing, salivating over that certain replica of their favorite characters, this is somewhat of a “new lease on life,” so to speak. If you didn’t win that Ebay auction of Darth Vader’s 10-inch figurine by a matter of 50 cents, then it’s your chance to get back at that bad person who snatched up the object of your obsessions. You weren’t able to have that one on Ebay? Then get one made specifically for you through CustomBobble.com! Besides, that one on Ebay may have been a used item! This one will be lovingly created just for you. If you want to take geekiness to a different level, you could also have replicas of your favorite tech industry icon created just for you. Maybe you want a bobblehead of you being hugged or kissed by Steve Jobs. If you’re a girl and you like Steve Jobs that much, ain’t that a great thought? If you’re a guy... That’s just gross. Or maybe you would want a replica of Steve Jobs’ main man and über-designer Jonathan Ive. If you can’t steal him from his wife, at least you have a bobblehead of him on your nightstand. As a geek, you won’t run out of ideas for new bobbleheads to be ordered. If you are on a quest to have that one collectible you missed getting, or you so desperately want a figurine of Steve Jobs or Jonathan Ive, Linus Torvalds of Linux, Mark Shuttleworth of Ubuntu Linux, or even of Bill Gates or, heaven forbid, Steve Ballmer, then hop on over to CustomBobble.com and feed your inner geek’s hunger. You won’t lack for ideas on what else to order. If you order in bulk, there are special discounts! So complete the entire Star Wars or Lord of the Rings cast and crew, or you could go for the complete lineup of today’s tech greats! Hop on over to CustomBobble.com now! The Dark Knight Ringtones | Batman - the Dark Knight RingtonesClick Here to Download Batman - The Dark Knight Ringtones The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Begins, which was released in 2005. Christian Bale reprises the lead role. Batman's primary conflicts in the film include his fight against the Joker (Heath Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). The Dark Knight opened on July 18, 2008 in the United States with midnight screenings in 3,040 theaters. From the first midnight screenings, the film has earned $18.5 million and has set a new midnight debut record. For his conception of the film, Nolan was inspired by the Joker's first two appearances in the comics and Batman: The Long Halloween. The Dark Knight was filmed primarily in Chicago (as was Batman Begins), as well as in several other locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. The director used an IMAX camera to film six major action sequences, including the Joker's first appearance in the film. The Batsuit was redesigned, with a cowl allowing Bale to move his head. The film also introduces a recreation of the Batcycle, known as the Batpod. Warner Bros. created an aggressive viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screenshots of Heath Ledger as the Joker. After Ledger's death in January 2008, however, the studio refocused its promotional campaign. Click Here to Download Batman - The Dark Knight Ringtones
