I've been wanting to play some Final Fantasy lately and have realized that most of the "best" ones are really only for PlayStation. What games could be either Wii or GameCube are good?

I've been able to play Final Fantasy I, II, VIII and IX via PSP and the original Playstation respectively. I would like to play Final Fanasy III, IV, V and VI, however, I'd like to play the games on remake and with better graphics because I tend to start and never finish the original version as they are seemingly too blank with the effects. Is there any possible way that I can play them on PSP or should I buy a DS, the GBA advance versions and play them there? Now I have played games like dragon age, mass effect 1 + 2, rouge galaxy, lost odyssey, and so on....but never any final fantasies. Can anyone tell me how Final Fantasy 13 will be in terms of rpg elements or what not. Specifics are good such as customization and that kind of stuff. I think Final Fantasy is really neat but I don't have the attention span to play the games. Unfortunately, there aren't any movies or books for Final Fantasy X. Are there any websites with fan fiction that has the same story as the game and doesn't change information much? Thanks! Final Fantasy VII advent children was really good and I'm wondering if they're planning to make the other games into movies in the future as well.
