I want to start reading Green Lantern comics, but it seems to be all over the place (as comics often are). I want to start from the beginning and get to know the full story. Where do I start, and what's a good and inexpensive way to start?

I have a huge collection of comics that I want to make digital. I don't feel the need to re-buy them. Is their anything available that can take my physical comics and digitize them? I have never read comic books before so i will need to start from the first issues. i am tired of everyone comparing movies to the comics and i dont know what they are talking about. i would prefer to read them online and for free. this just seems like something i would love to do because i love superheros and reading fiction. Just finished cleaning out my now hospitalized hoarder alcoholic brothers house and I found about 5 rubbermaid tubs full of comics. Most are not sealed in plastic and I doubt any are real old. He's now 45 and has probably been collecting since he was 16 until he began really drinking heavily about 5 years ago. Is there a guide to judging comics worth? I know nothing about comics, but I know some are valuable. Thanks So I just found out that Sabrina was from Archie and his friends, and I have recently started reading archie's comics or comics about his friends, and wanted to know if she might still popped up in those comics or only stead in her series? I've looked everywhere, but I can only find incomplete sections of the books. I'm not allowed to download the comics or buy it online because of my parents. I know for a fact that no manga sites have it because it's an american comic. can you please help me? I ask this question because I've compared older comics to the newer ones and they're completely different as far as drawing or penciling. Superheroes, or extreme heroes, get boring. What are the best non-superhero comics out there? Please list as many as you can. Thanks. |
