Yes, X-force is still on-going. It is currently in issue 24.
Messiah Complex and Messiah War was a crossover between X-force and Cable so you would need the cable issues to understand it since half of the issues are in Cable. Deadpool in teh regular universe isnt in the series but a future Deadpool does show up in the Messiah War crossover

UNCANNY X-MEN #525
The first mutant is born after the events of House of M where the Scarlet Witch proclaimed ‘No More Mutants.' Second Coming is the final part of the X-Men Trilogy that started 3 years ago with the Messiah Complex followed by the Messiah War. Second Coming centers on Cable and Hope Summers returning to the present day as they are hunted by Bastion.
Things look grim for the X-Men as Bastion traps them in a sphere that surrounds the island ofUtopia as well as San Francisco. He then creates a portal on the Golden Gate Bridge and sends enhanced army of Nimrod sentinels from the Days of Future Past timeline to destroy the remaining mutants on Utopia. With no other choice than to use the last time jump, Cyclops sends Cable and X-Force sent into the future to stop the Nimrods as the X-Men battle them in the present day.
Finding a way to break through the impregnable energy dome are the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. They realize that with their combined might it would take all day to break in while the citizens inside only have a few hours left.
Usually back in the 1990s any comic issue ending with 25 regardless of whether it was 25, 125, 225, or 525 had a special place in a story or event. Here we have three different stories taking place within one issue: Cyclops and the X-Men inside the dome, the Avengers and Fantastic Four outside of the dome, and Cable with X-Force in the future. Each story is cannibalizing the other one so it feels like nothing is happening within this issue. Would have been nice to only focus on the present day and what is happening within and outside of the dome. Most likely this could keep the story well structured and the tension between the heroes high.

Gene Simmons was born Chaim Witz on august 25, 1949 in Israel. He is the blood-spitting, fire-breathing, tongue-wagging vocalist and rock bass guitarist of the rock band KISS. I just went to the comic shop to buy deadpool suicide kings 2 and spawn 192 and i saw one of the next batman batlte for the cowl comics that says if batman is dead or not, I didnt buy it but i looked through it and it looks like bruce is walking around in the end. Bruce Wayne is supposed to return after the 3ed issue of the Red Robin mini series....or was that Hush parading around as Bruce Wayne?
Anyway, I read interviews with Paul Dini & Grant Morrison & both say Bruce is still alive. Dini even said that the Batman corpse Superman found in Trinity was a fake. I kinda figured that out when he pulled a gun on Darkseid.
It was originaly believed that Batman was hit by the Omega Sanction beam & sent to the Elseworlds, but if Dini wasn't lying about the corpse, then Bruce is lying unconcious somewhere in a deep & confusing dream, at least that's the impression I've been given from the last issues of Batman & Detective Comics.
From what I gather from fellow readers, in order to save-face from this risque event, the writers won't let Bruce be Batman again for 1-4 years, but I think feedback & sales will have the ultimate say on that.

Sarah Palin kicks off 'Going Rogue' book tour in Michigan; Calls Obama's economy plan 'backa**wards'
The book – which details her months on the campaign trail with 2008 Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain – hit shelves Tuesday.
Hundreds of people had lined up before daybreak for her first scheduled signing in Grand Rapids, where Palin said she first went rogue.
In the book, Palin says she disagreed with the McCain campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan in October 2008, after deciding they couldn't win the state and didn't have the time or money to stump there.
Palin remembers the moment as a turning point that put her at odds with the McCain staff.
But now that Palin is in charge of the schedule, Michigan will get more than its share of face time -- and fans of the maverick-turned-memoirist could hardly wait for her arrival.
"She's speaking on behalf of all Americans who believe in freedom and liberty," supporter Steve Thomas told the Detroit Free Press.
Thomas was among the first in line to buy a copy of the one-time vice presidential candidate’s book Tuesday in Grand Rapids. While the 413-page book was released yesterday, it has been at the top of online bestseller lists for weeks.
To promote her tour, Palin has been hitting the television airwaves. Hard.
The former Alaska governor sat down for an intimate interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters that will air in its entirety Friday at 9 p.m. on "20/20."
But the network has aired a series of snippets on its morning program, "Good Morning America."
In the most recent installments, Palin:
• Calls President Obama's strategy to repair the economy "backassward"
• Admits he'd likely "smoke" her on the basketball court
• Describes the Tea Party movement is a "beautiful" thing • Says political correctness might just "do our country in"
• Confides that as a girl, she was daddy’s "tough hunting buddy"
When asked by Walters how she'd attempt to jumpstart the economy and battle unemployment - which is at its highest since 1983 - Palin said she'd start by "cutting taxes and allowing our small businesses to keep more of what they're earning."
She bashed Obama for "punishing them by forcing health care reform down their throats, and energy policy down their throats that will ultimately cost them more to stay in business."
Those plans, she said, "are backassward ways of trying to fix the economy."

I've read Archie Good Bye forever and myself, am not a fan of the new look series so I would go with Archie Marries Betty/Veronica (which I also have/read). It is a good comic and it's pretty awesome to see the two different futures. I actually prefer Archie in high school though...but yeah. SOrry if I'm confusing hahaha

Having said that, how can you say McCain lost because conservatives didn't show up. In states like Utah, Wyoming and Alabama more people voted than ever and yet they went strongly McCain. Something tells me "conservatives" as you call them, didn't simply sit out the election, no one sat out an election where the main point of argument was "don't vote for him, he's a muslim". Honestly, who didn't vote?
She cost him our two votes. I was planning to vote for McCain because he is a moderate to liberal Republican instead of a far right wing conservative. I do not agree with that part of the Republican party. I am a fiscal conservative, social liberal who is an unaffiliated register voter. A lot of Republican women support Roe v Wade.

It is high time that we pose this question to ourselves and seek an honest answer. What is an ideal weight? What constitutes a healthy weight loss? How can we attain such a healthy and effective extreme makeover?
Mixed messages regarding body image have created a dichotomy. Americans are obsessed with being “Hollywood” thin and beautiful, but intrigued by criticism of the models and celebrities they aim to resemble. We are easily swayed by the popular preaching of our friendly personal trainers. The result—a country that is consumed with “looking good” and less concerned with overall health and wellbeing. We have now in our midst a populace with a relatively corrupted perspective of our physical appearance attained through the supposedly healthy weight loss program to achieve the “barbie-type physique. It is now the all too familiar paint in the wall which we force ourselves to believe as beautiful.
With these unrealistic expectations, it is no wonder so many people are dissatisfied with their bodies, self-conscious and incapable of appreciating basic good health. The female sector is obviously the most vulnerable and affected lot—4 out of 5 are unhappy with their bodies. The consequences are quite disturbing: teenage girls plagued with self-scrutiny, pregnant women depriving themselves of essential nourishment in order to limit weight gain and the new prevalence of eating disorders among women in midlife.
The media should do their part in ending the misplaced belief that thin is better and beautiful. Proper emphasis should be impressed upon us that healthy weight loss is essential mainly because it is what we need in order for us to live a fruitful and healthy life. The sad reality is that the current unrealistic and unhealthy images attract more attention and translate into financial gain.

It goes without saying that, you gotta have at least one Indiana Jones action figure for a collection based on that character. I love to study up on the background of the action figures I collect, so here is a brief account of the Indiana Jones story…
Doctor Henry Walton Jones (also called "Indiana") is a fictitious adventurer, professor of archeology, OSS agent, in addition to being the main character from the Indiana Jones media franchise. George Lucas dreamt up the fictitious personality in devotion to the action roles from the Nineteen Thirties film series. The fictitious character first came along in the 80s motion picture Raiders of the Lost Ark, to be followed by Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom also from the 1980s. Additional motion pictures following were The Last Crusade, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, & Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The teen Jones found his own style on a person fromthe Last Crusade introduction, once getting his fedora. In the Temple of Doom, the the character becomes the dad during a transient family with Short Round & Willie Scott. the character is rescued from the Kali from the loyalty of Short Round. Jones also saves various kids from being slaves.
There is so much to the Indiana Jones tale. Too much for this one article. Stareing at a Indiana Jones action figure, I can understand he has seen a heap of action in his time. Indiana Jones action figures are a nice collectible as a result of of the long cavernous saga of the character.
