O.K. COOL ! YOU DID A GOOD JOB ON HOW TO MAKE AN IMAGE LOOK LIKE AN IMAGE FOR A COMMENT BOOK. BUT DO YOU HAVE A VIDEO tutorial ON HOW TO MAKE A REGULAR PERSON PHOTO IMAGE TURN INTO A AINMATED CARTOON ?
i couldnt get the same effect with the levels at the beginning. and it got worse when i did the cutout. this tutorial sucks.

I thought this would be an interesting tutorial involving Frank Millers drawing style, but altering the levels of an image dosnt makeu an artist. Frank’s style isnt just about black and white, its about how the white and blacks interact, overlap, and still trick your eye into thinking something is there even though he didnt outline our clearly define it, its about your imagination filling in the blanks. Any normal person can alter a pre-exisiting photo, my point is that that isnt frank’s style.

Helpful but the end result in the video kinda blows. its working out great for me though.
the gun is way too small. but other than that the tut is great. i dont hav photoshop though, so i dont know what im gonna use this for.
a better way to do shis is to do it in adobe illustrator, its more work but the result is PERFECT

you just draw it? put the picyure in and create another layer on top of that AND START DRAWING WOHOO

nice, but how do u do this in color, for exp. blue and white or red and white?
Just take a duplicate image of the original and crop out the colored pieces you want and put it underneath the main layer so you get the lines on top of it to fit.
