Let’s Play Final Fantasy IX #007 – NARF!

In this episode, we return to the ship empty-handed. There's nothing we can do for the princess now. Nope. We're just going to cry in our beer, rest up, leave the forest, and become fugitives for the rest of our lives. No way we're getting out of this mess. Thanks for watching!

    Yeah, but you have to remember the whole “Youtube’s Playlist system suddenly became worse about a year ago” deal.

  • TheSpazhero

    can garnet ever summon before the final disk?

  • Flickelflackel

    i think that blank kind of looks like snake only with red hair and a midevil themed camoflauge. just the fact that he wears a bandana and has no eyes

  • doamaster08

    ATB rage FTW.

  • SchlossRitter

    How does anyone administer a potion to Vivi without being able to see where his mouth is? Heh

    Would you like a Red Baloon?

    No, I didn’t see you playing with your dolls again.

    Vivi + Zidane = Magic Sword? Do I foresee Chrono Trigger like combo attacks?

    @GriefJerky i have that same problem well the second one the first one didn’t bother me that much but i’ve died many a times against some tough enemies because of that stupid paradigm shift animation that serves no serious purpose

  • kyo1546

    @ComradeLuigi9956 yeah it does for me unless i watch the video then pause it at the end when he says “this is HCBailly signing off have a good day” then click on the video name just so i can read the comments and its just too much work unless you are accessing his playlists from somewhere else in which case i would love to know where

  • ComradeLuigi9956

    @kyo1546you have to do a search for the playlists

  • Morphogenesis13

    @OrderofMertuary

    yeah, same with ff6

  • auron570

    finally someone who pronounces “ether” the way I do!

  • DoomTrain96

    Six Demon Bag?!?!
    Holy crap! HCBailly made a Man Man reference!
    You have a good taste in music sir!

  • XCLR8

    “No sir…I didn’t see you playing with your dolls again sir…” LOL Great movie HCBaily.

  • SimkinC42

    @DoomTrain96 Or a Big Trouble in Little China reference.

  • neji100

    Rigamortis!!! Oh no! Maybe she can help

  • neji100

    @neji100 …stupid touch, as I was saying… You drain the main vain?

  • chrizz1500

    HCBAILLY you can only see the poster at the beginning of the game when you have to light the candle but make sure not to light the candle first or you will miss it.

  • DoomTrain96

    @SimkinC42 true that sir!

  • spriddlez

    @auron570 I always have pronounced it that way too =) It’s Eth-er. Not Eeth-er =D

  • Features19

    There is a poster there on the right wall at the beginning of the game telling the stats of the Prima Vista. Before the candle being lite.

    Even though Vivi is well under the drinking age, they probably slipped him some gin and juice..

    That Joker voice was..actually kind of freaky O.O

    I like how the active time events aren’t mandatory and can show some minor plot/character development to those interested in such things while those who just want to go full steam ahead can do so.

    It’s also interesting how we’ve quickly gone from the bright and garish opening to a muted, more somber color palette and atmosphere.

  • McGack1

    you can pronounce ether either way just like the word either and neither

    …….kiss me fat boy? 0_o oh and dont forget to steal Blank’s iron sword too ,aww i thought that going the wrong way part was going to be a gaaaaaaaaaame moment, and then it was right after =D

  • lockecole645

    @Quadunit404 Really? It seemed fine to me. Spell charges, depending on the level of spell, can take a while, but the ATB was pretty fast.

  • Quadunit404

    @lockecole645 Well, I never got very far as I traded it in for FFX the next day, but yeah, normal attacks take forever to actually happen.

  • wonderwhywhy

    space balls, great movie.
