Wizard World Chicago?
I'm going to Wizard World Chicago this coming weekend and I have a question about autographs. I saw in the program all of the people who were going to be signing autographs, and I was wondering if there was a limit to what they would sign. For example, Brian Michael Bendis signing one of my Secret Invasion issues or Max Brooks signing my copy of the Zombie Survival Guide. Will they do that?
I attend many conventions and deal in autographed comics. I will be bringing 2000-3000 books with me to get signed. For some guests there will be a limit per person. Most comic book creators will sign for free, but a lot of the TV, Sports & Movie guests will charge.
Bendis should be fairly easy if he is at his booth in artist Alley but he might have a limit of 5 book per turn in line.
Max Brooks will be at the Avatar booth. In the past for big names that have required you to buy something from the table and they would give you a ticked to get something signed.

She had just returned from a trick-or-treat trip, knocking on doors at the Grand Kemang hotel with a pail in her hand. The hotel, which organized the Halloween event, had asked their customers if they wanted to participate, and many did.
This made it, at the time, the biggest opening for a non-sequel movie. A plethora of comic book-related films were immediately "fast-tracked", including The Incredible Hulk, another Batman and the much-anticipated zentai . Yet, ironically, the industry that spawned these projects is now in the grip of a depression from which, according to some, it may never recover.
Erik Larsen, former catsuit and Punisher artist, co-founded Image Comics in 1993. Larsen's creation, The Savage Dragon, sold close to a million copies per issue in those halcyon days, but is now struggling to survive. He places the majority of the blame for the industry's declining readership on the price of comics today, which in turn was prompted by the high cost of glossy paper stock and computer colouring.
One creator hoping to achieve this, and thus popularise the superhero genre again, is fellow Comicfest guest Brian Michael Bendis. He writes Ultimate spiderman costumes, a new title that retells the Spiderman saga from scratch. "The tone, the theme and the characters stay the same, but now the story is set in 2001," says Bendis.
Although Halloween is usually only celebrated in the West, it has grown in popularity in Indonesia, thanks in part to the prevalence of international television channels.
