What is your favorite comic book story arc?
A lot of folks are gonna say "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns", so there, I got that out of the way.
Infinity Gauntlet, Death of the Stacys (Spider-Man), Kraven's Last Hunt (Spider-Man), Demon in a Bottle (Iron Man), Extremis (Iron Man), The Life & Death of Captain Marvel and the original Beta-Ray Bill run were all incredible. There's no way I could narrow it down to just one.
Iron Man #29, Batman #676 and The Mighty Avengers #14 Comics

Don't watch TV online: Check Out These Top 3 Underrated Tim Burton Films
Don't watch TV online, check out these often overlooked Tim Burton films for a fun, spooky movie night. Burton is a pretty prolific film maker, often writing and directing a movie at least every other year. You never know what kind of film you are getting with Tim Burton, but one thing that is common amongst his work is a sort of light-hearted darkness. In many of his best works he is able to combine dark comedy with a gothic sensibility, creating his own unique style that could be called “Burton-esque.” Here is a list of three underrated Tim Burton films.
“Mars Attacks!”
This ensemble science-fiction comedy by Tim Burton was considered a huge flop on its release but has held up pretty well more than ten years later. The special effects by Industrial Light and Magic still looks passable today though one does wonder how the film would have looked if Burton’s original idea, to do all the alien special effects with stop motion animation to make it look as cheesy and 50’s as possible. The film is known for having a huge cast of actors from Jack Nicholson (who plays two characters) to Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michal J. Fox.
“Ed Wood”
Leave it to Tim Burton to make a movie about one of the worst film directors of all time. “Ed Wood” is a darkly comic and sad movie about late director of B-horror movies, Edward D. Wood Jr. Shot in black and white to resemble the era Ed Wood worked in, the film features an amazing performance by Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi, and Johnny Depp as the charismatic, confused, but always upbeat Ed Wood. Burton has an obvious love for the work of Ed Wood which can be seen in how he treats his film.
“Batman”
People give this original 1989 Batman film adaptation a lot of grief nowadays after the reboot by director Christopher Nolan, which plays off the darkness and macabre stories from the comic book series, whereas Burton highlighted the more lighthearted and comical aspects. In that regard, Burton was successful in creating a strange, dark and comical world that resembled many of the comic book stories.
