Any xtians in here who (as always) have to promote the bible, you should be honest and brave enough to research where it came from before you recommend it to others. “The Forged Origins of the New Testament” , by Tony Bushby, is the shortest work I’ve found with references, about 8 pages. You should be able to read it, but I doubt that any xtians will, as it is too intellectual, and proves the dishonesty in its creation. You should reserarch it before you recommend it further, that is shameful!

In context the quote you referenced me to Joseph is sticking it to all the slanderers and professors of religion of his day who were spreading falsehoods about him to the four winds. His boasting was a way of saying that if he was what they say, then they must reconcile that with the works he’d accomplished…

His boasting was that he’d kept the church of Jesus Christ together better than anyone on record, so how on earth could he be a prophet of the devil. It is black-hearted deceit to mingle his statement with John taylor’s statement that he had “accomplished more than any other man for the salvation of mankind SAVE JESUS ONLY” into saying that he boasted that he’d done more even then jesus, and then saying that he shed his blood for us…
@peepstonesally I go to a christian school and we have been learning about the most popular secular worldviews. I never knew how different mormons were!!!! It seams to me that there are religions that have parts of christianity (islam, mormon…) but yet are completely wrong. Like they were outcasts of the christian church and started their own.

And about Joseph Smith being judge at the last day. He does not hold supremacy above the Father and the Son is any way shape or form in authority. He is their servent, and yes, we believe that Jesus will delegate authority to Joseph to preside over…
@BaurakAle7 the judgement of that portion of mankind who lived on earth under the dispensation of the gospel he commenced as the first prophet thereof, but joseph answers to Jesus Christ. I don’t see how that is any more freakish or creepy or devilish than when Jesus told his 12 apostles that they would sit on his left and right hands on thrones of glory in the resurrection, judging over Israel and the world is Jesus’ behalf. (Mathew 19:28)
